Willow wanted to be a Princess Fairy for halloween this year. I am not creative and couldn't think of a theme so Elwyn got to be a princess fairy too. I saw these costumes on ebay and decided i would try to make them myself. I am pretty proud of myself. If we lived somewhere nice and warm (which i will someday), they wouldn't need black shirts underneath...but whatever!!!

Parent Teacher Conference

So I have just officially attended my first Parent Teacher Conference with Willow. I teased her all week that her teacher was going to tell me all the naughty things she does. Really I know that she only does naughty things at home:)

Willow is the top in her class. She is only 1 of 3 kids in her class that are reading and sounding out words when she writes. I was so impressed. I say i am impressed because I am the mom that does absolutely nothing to increase my childrens learning. I rather lay on the couch and watch TV all day, than read to them:) Sadly for me, both girls LOVE to read.

I was also informed that there are 2 little boys in her class that fight over her. And when i say fight, i mean fight. Apparently these boys have gotten into an actual fight over who gets to play with Willow. I don't understand where any of this is coming from....I was never friends with the boys when i was little. In Willow's PreK class last year, her best friend was a little boy named Will....now i could somewhat understand that because their names were so similar, and for those of you who know Willow, you know how paticular she is about her name!

Anywho, I dread the teenage years. Not just with Willow, but with Elwyn too. Like i have been told MANY a time...paybacks a B*#@H!

Photography

One of my very best and funnest friends has her own photography studio. Since I live in Utah now...I can make her take beautiful pictures of my girls!!! I love it!!! I was so happy with how these pictures turned out. If you know me well...you know that I have problems getting good pictures of my little Elwyn, but Julie did such an awesome job capturing her cute/mean little personality:)

Happy Birthday Elwyn!!!!

Our sweet little Elwyn celebrated her 2nd birthday yesterday. I can't believe she is already two...i swear i just popped her out!!!

Willow was much more excited than Elwyn was for her birthday. Everytime we asked Elwyn whos' birthday was coming up she would say, "ME!!!!". Then i would ask her how old she was going to be and she would say, "two" while holding up a finger. She is so funny. When she saw me with presents last night she said, "ohhhhhh, cool!!!!" She was really good about waiting until it was time to open them though.

We are so lucky to have our sweet little Elwyn. She has been our 'problem' baby. Not so much that she is naughty, but she has always loved to cry. She was very colicy when she was born, which was a shock to us since Willow was such a GOOD baby. Elwyn still hasn't quite figured out how to sleep through the night consecutively. She is our sensitive one and very much a mommas girl. i can't complain when she is shelling out the love.
