The second graders had a Christmas performance...mostly it was a bunch of singing. i got there early and got a great seat...but on the wrong side of the stage. I was so mad:( i could hardly see Willow doing her 'sweet' moves...and my camera was TOTALLY sucking that day!!!!

Willow sayin something else:) Here we go again...another year down, another christmas letter in the mail. If you don't get our christmas letters....here is what you are missing:) I am too lazy to load the girls' new pictures onto my blog...maybe one day i will do it.
It’s that time of year again…time to write the annual Christmas letter. Where do I begin…
Elwyn has been busy causing her usual amount of trouble. She enjoys autographing her room and all of its contents with a BLACK sharpie marker, telling me, “Your not the boss of me,” and of course we can’t forget her constant NEED to sneak candy and gum whenever possible. But we love her nonetheless and enjoy her most of the time. Elwyn is attending ‘high school preschool’, which is just a fun way to say that she attends a preschool that is taught at the local high school. She LOVES it, and so do I! She is also taking dance this year. She has a lot of sweet moves, and really enjoys showing them off.
Willow is still busy being super smart and helping me around the house. She is now in 2nd grade and is growing up too fast. Willow is also taking dance and LOVES performing. She loves to read and we can’t seem to keep enough books in the house. We are constantly going to the library to check out more chapter and science books. Willow played softball this summer and is actually really good. I guess we will add that to the list of things that Willow is good atJ
Rich is in his eighth year working for Sam’s Club, although he can’t wait for ACN to be “Plan A.” We have had quite a wild ride this past year with his job. Let’s just say his boss HATES him and will stop at nothing to get rid of him. Too bad for his boss because Rich keeps coming out on top. On another note, he was released from his calling as Scout Master, which most of you understand is a mixed bag. Of course he wasn’t released until AFTER he attended scout camp once again this summerJ
It has been another busy year for me. I am still doing the landscaping at our townhome complex. It seemed like a lot more work this year than last, but I still enjoy it. This fall I enlisted the help of a neighbor to help me with the raking. I HATE raking!!! I started teaching dance again this fall. The job kind of just fell into my lap. It has been fun to teach again, and the best part is that the girls are able to take dance for free…AND I’m not their teacherJ So between the landscaping, dance and running the kids from here to there…we have been quite busy.
I can’t believe another year has flown by so quickly. I guess I am getting old because time is flying. We have been very blessed this past year and are grateful for all that we have.

So i turned 30. It is quite awful...i can't believe i am so old and i feel like i have done nothing. Don't get me wrong, I am quite content with my life at this point, i guess i just thought i would be ALL done having kids:) Oh well. My family and friends made it a wonderful day/days:) Rich took me to dinner with the kids at our very favorite restaurant...Texas Roadhouse. I love that place, and boy was it packed!!! Willow gave me some new earrings and Elwyn gave me a ring (which i returned), Rich gave me a new jacket (which got returned) and some new dance pants...i think he noticed i was wearing pants that were at least 10 years old:) LOL!
A few days after my birthday a very good friend of mine threw me a surprise 'retirement' party...as i like to call it:) I felt very 'special' and it was so nice of my friends to welcome me in to old age:) We did not take too many pictures of my birthday, thus i can forget it:) My favorite thing that my sister gave me was a 'boob' shaped cakepan, okay it wasn't really a boob shaped cakepan, but i sure thought it was!!! It is actually an oversized cupcake shaped cakepan:) LOL!

This was Elwyn this morning in Rich's sweats. She looks like one of those overweight people that can't get out of bed, and they have to be rolled from side to side by someone else:) I had quite a time getting these Xmas cards ordered this year. My stupid computer was being so slow, i think i wasted 3 hours on the computer trying to load them...grrrrr....Anywho, this picture is a picture of the card on the computer. I'm lame, i know:)

Rich carved this pumpkin with the girls while i was at dance one night. It turned out amazing/puke and all...of course i didn't get a picture BEFORE some jerk kicked the face in. We had ALL of our pumpkins smashed this year. I hate mean people!!!

I decided last minute that i didn't want my butt cheeks hanging out for everyone to see:) There has been alot going on around here. I'm just not very good at updating my blog...and i'm even worse at downloading pictures...first to my computer, second onto my blog. There has to be an easier way!!! So these are the last pictures that i uploaded. One day i will get around to loading Halloween pictures, and all the other things we have been doing:) Until then, enjoy!

This is Elwyn's and my dads' Birthday party at my parents house. Check out Elwyn's 'little house on the prairie' dress. She peed her pants, and i had NOTHING for her. She got to wear some boys pajama shorts as underwear and this fine dress...funny thing is i totally wore this as a child LOL!

I am teaching dance again...shocking, i know!!! The best part is that the girls get to take dance...for free...okay it comes out of my paycheck, but still...it's exciting for them. Here is Elwyn before dance. I'm sure i have a picture of Willow somewhere, but oh well. 
We went to the BYU tailgate party at Macey's. We LOVE these parties. They are FREE and so much fun. The girls had their faces painted and i couldn't believe the type of 'face painting' they had going on there:) Willow is a snake.
Elwyn is a dog. These pics were taken after a LONG night of playing, so you can see how Elwyn has rubbed a good portion of her 'face' off. She was so cute:) I can't believe another year has gone by and she and I both are still alive:) She is a sweetheart...but a difficult sweetheart:) Happy Birthday Miss Elwyn!!!

SERIOUSLY!!!! This child:
May not make it to her next birthday...which is less than 2 weeks away!!! She is a nightmare. Her sweet little face sure throws me off, but she is pure TROUBLE!!! I don't understand what goes through her mind to make her do such terrible things. AHHHHH!!!! Yes i am screaming!!!
This is what she has done...just in the past 6 days (i will note that alot of these things happened while under the care of her sweet dad):
*Started the clotheswasher. Yes it had clothes in it, but they were already clean.
*Ate half the bag of candy corns in one sitting.
*Started the clotheswasher again...this time there was NOTHING in it.
*Dumped half the bottle of modge podge down the wall and onto the carpet...REALLY...REALLY, why would someone do that!!!!
*Chopped up a roll of ribbon...why me???
*This happened this morning: Autographed several items in her room with permanent BLACK marker. I was able to get the marker off of SOME items, but other things, like my rocking chair have NO HOPE!!!!
So if anyone is looking to adopt, I have a child that is available. She really is cute, and she is super cuddly. She loves to make people laugh, and she is ALWAYS hungry:) Any takers???
My 7 year old has finally lost a tooth. I am so sad:( Her face will start changing, she won't be my 'little' girl anymore, and she will get big ugly adult teeth. I might just cry:(
Rich ripped her tooth out last night...the night before school started. I sat in a different room dry heaving...because i can't handle teeth. Anywho, i'm pretty sure i heard bones breaking as he pulled it out. There was alot of blood, and if i had been in the room, there would have been alot of puke too:)
The toothfairy brought Willow a $2 bill...which she called a dollar. Funny girl. i explained to her what it was, and then she felt pretty special!!!

Is going to be in second grade this year. That just breaks my heart!!! She was super excited/nervous. She has been praying for the last month that she will have fun at school, and that she will have a good time with her new friends. She cracks me up!!! We met her new teacher yesterday, and she seems really great. I am excited for Willow!!! It's gonna be a great year!!!
