Elwyn's first talk

So about a month ago, this little girl gave her first talk in primary....

I was a little bit concerned about everyone being able to understand her...i was also concerned about her being able to memorize it. Well she proved me wrong and memorized her talk in a couple of days and did a wonderful job. There were parts that were not 'understood', but it is okay, she was awesome.

When this child...

gave her first talk it brought tears to my eyes. She was SO excited to give a talk..infact she wanted to get up there so bad, that the presidency gave her a talk months before the rest of her class had a chance to do something. She memorized her talk within minutes, and could speak so clearly at that age, that i wasn't worried about a thing. (Elwyn does not speak as clearly as Willow did). Anywho, she wanted to take her paper up with her, so everyone thought she was reading at a very early age.

Anywho...i am proud of both my girls:) Like i've said before, i am a closet pageant mom, so i love when my kids 'perform'...even if it is just a talk in church:)
