1 Room down...many more to go:)

So when we bought our home, nearly 2 years ago i knew i would eventually be painting every room in the house. I also knew i would be doing alot of updates...which i figured would be easy enough with us living there. Not so much. I wish we would have just done most of our BIG updates before we moved in...well we didn't, and they still have yet to be done:( I have been painting though, and slowy getting rooms done. I am the dumb one that doesn't take 'before shots', so i will try to help you imagine:)

This is our half bath...that is FINALLY finished. I can move on and forget about it. Okay when we bought the home ALL the fixtures were GOLD...meaning gold faucets, gold towel hanger, gold toilet paper roll, gold light fixture, etc....it is ridiculous!!! In this bathroom the cabinets were a light oak and the walls were a medium sage green. The room was very dark...and i didn't realize how dark it was until i painted it this pretty blue. I painted the cabinets white and added the hardware. I love this room now:)

Another shot of the bathroom

The cabinets:)
The only other rooms in our house that i 'feel' are done, are the girls' room and the laundry room. I have actually repainted the whole first floor once already, but i have decided i don't like the color anymore...in fact, I HATE IT!!! So i have many more plans to do hard labor in the future (no, not the birthing kind). I love completing a project, especially when it turns out how i wanted it:)

Wow, it looks great! You did a super job and I love the baby blue and white!! Good luck with the rest of the place! I HATE renovations! We are figuring out the hard way as well that it's best to do most stuff before you move in!
