Please excuse any sudden profanities that may escape my editing. So this morning i wake up to the sounds of my children playing in the bathroom...so in between my dreaming, i am yelling at them to get out of the bathroom. Finally i decide to wake up. I go into the bathroom to find hair EVERYWHERE. Not only is there dark brown hair, but blonde hair, as well as some pink, purple and sparkly colored hair. (just breathe). So i scream at my children to get in there. Willow had taken it upon herself to CUT her hair, Elwyn's hair and her My Little Pony's hair...the later not so important to me. I was irate....I AM IRATE!!! SERIOUSLY!!!! Since their hair was still pulled back in half ponytails from yesterday, she decided to cut the pony tail...niccccce. What was she thinking!!! My poor little Elwyn already doesn't have as much hair as i would like, i think i am going to cry!!!! Have i put enough explanation points in this post, i think not!!!! Anywho, Elwyn is in time out for the rest of the day in her room, and Willow is in time out for the rest of her life in my room. And they got their sweet scooters taken away that they got from Grandma and Grandpa Cannon for Xmas. Enjoy the pics:(

Oh no Liz! I am sorry!
oh yeah,. I would cry. Truly, I dread th day one of my kids comes up with this plan on my girls' lonnnng hair..... :(
Keep the pony so she can remembre how she made them all "not pretty anymore". ;)
GOOD LUCK!!! (I'm out of town or I'd take the baby off your hands...)
Jon and are laughing because we are just waiting for our kids to do that!
Mom and I couldn't stop laughing - sorry Liz :(
I'm sorry, but I just have to laugh. I feel your pain, but it is still soooo funny! Thanks for breakfast dinner tonight. It was fun to hang out and get to know you better. We will have to do it again. I have a feeling we will be spending many nights without hubbys soon. But don't be too mad, it is well worth the cause to get our hubbys back and live our dream lives!!!
I agree with Steph and your mom. Hair will grow back and your girls are still waay cute and my friends.
too funny. I feel your pain.
My big sister and I did the same thing when I was three. She was five. We were playing "Monster". She was the monster and caught me. Once I was caught, the "monster" cut my hair. My hair was really long. She cut half of it, then we heard mom coming and so she pulled the long part over my shoulder to hide the short part. That didn't work...my mom's a pretty smart lady. Anyway, all of us cried as mom "fixed" my new hair-do by cutting all of it boy short. She was pretty torked too. We didn't do that again.
I know it's not funny, but I was laughing through it all. I think I would have cried. At least it grows back, right?
Oh man! I would have yelled. And cried. Then yelled some more. And cried a little more.
I'm sure you'll laugh about it someday. In the far, distant future!
I think almost every little girl does that at some point or another. Embarassingly my first time was when I was about 16. I thought I knew how to cut layers, and ended up giving myself a little mohawk looking thing at the top of my head. I had to wear barrettes up there for months.
